Bastille’s first full-length debut, Bad Blood, went straight to the top of the album charts when it was released in the U.K. in March of 2013. The Haunt EP, which introduced Bastille to U.S. audiences, entered Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart at No. 1 in June. “Pompeii” – included on both Haunt and Bad Blood – became one of the standout tracks of 2013. The video “Pompeii”, directed by Jesse John Jenkins (The Vaccines, Peace), has garnered over 91 million views thus far.
So far in 2014, Bastille’s new single “Bad Blood” has peaked at #3 on Billboard’s Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart, and they have been selected for MTV’s 2014 “Artist to Watch” music discover campaign.
